The English Speaking Test at <a href=\"https:\/\/lhi.sch.id\/\">SIT LHI<\/a> was held as part of PLC&#8217;s ongoing effort to develop English proficiency among teaching staff \u2014 a critical foundation for delivering quality bilingual education through CLIL.<br><br><strong>English Speaking Test at LHI: Who Participated<\/strong><br>The 82 participants in the English Speaking Test at <a href=\"https:\/\/lhi.sch.id\/\">SIT LHI<\/a> included primary and junior high school teachers with diverse roles \u2014 CLIL teachers, non-CLIL teachers, and boarding school mentors (Musyrif\/Musyrifah). This wide participation reflects <a href=\"https:\/\/lhi.sch.id\/\">SIT LHI<\/a>&#8216;s commitment to building English competency across all areas of the school, not just in language classrooms.<br><br>The decision to include teachers beyond CLIL roles demonstrates that bilingual education at <a href=\"https:\/\/lhi.sch.id\/\">SIT LHI<\/a> is a whole-school effort. When all educators \u2014 regardless of their subject \u2014 develop their English proficiency, students benefit from a more consistent and immersive language environment.<br><br><strong>How the English Speaking Test Was Conducted<\/strong><br>Participants were assessed through a structured speaking test at two proficiency levels \u2014 B1 and B2 \u2014 based on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). A team of 10 <a href=\"https:\/\/plc.lhi.sch.id\/\">PLC<\/a> examiners worked in pairs to assess each participant through guided conversations and interactive tasks.<br><br>The B1 level assessed participants&#8217; ability to communicate in everyday situations, while the B2 level evaluated more advanced skills such as expressing opinions, discussing abstract topics, and sustaining longer conversations.
